NorthGate began in 2012, at a kitchen table in Islamabad, after Sarah Khan left fourteen years of consular work. She'd spent that time on the processing side, stamping files. Most of the refusals she signed weren't about eligibility. They were about a file that couldn't tell a clear, honest story.

So we built a consultancy around one idea: prepare every application the way an officer wants to read it. Twelve years and eight thousand visas later, that's still all we do.
